About Team 33517
New Horizons is the newest member of the Nighthawks Robotics flock. Our dedicated members are currently composed of Grade 10 and 11 students, ready to embrace the legacy of Nighthawks Robotics during the Decode season.
As a learning team, New Horizons focuses on gaining hands-on experience with robot design, programming, and teamwork. The team is preparing to actively contribute to the Nighthawks program and build a strong foundation for future competitions.

Mentorship & Growth
Team 33517 benefits from direct mentorship from Team 24124 North Star members. Guidance is provided in robot design, programming, and competition strategy to help New Horizons members develop essential robotics skills.
By participating in the Nighthawks Robotics ecosystem, Team 33517 fosters a collaborative learning environment. Members are encouraged to share knowledge and support each other, helping the team grow and succeed in FIRST competitions.
New Horizons also works closely with other learning teams, providing opportunities to engage in mentorship and teamwork, strengthening the overall robotics community at North Trail High School.
